 The new chain fastener clamps the monocoque frame section, and presses it slightly inwards (Picture A, Point 3). With the traditional frame type vehicles a chain is fastened additionally around the frame beam to support the clamp (Picture B). The special feature of this new equipment is that it enables a grip of the car body by tightening the screw 1 (Picture B, Point 2) while the same movement simultaneously tightens the chain (4) around the frame structure. The chain fastener is installed to the basic Starblock arm (5) where the height can be adjusted with spacers (6) for different car bodies. Patented.   Kiinnitin.jpg (117 kB) |
